Lara knows best
I spent a large part of the 90’s playing the Tomb Raider games. It was never my intention. I mean, who wakes up in 1990 and says “I’m finding a playstation game to get totally addicted to for this entire decade!”?
However, addicted I was. It’s not like I had children or other meaningful things to keep me busy. I was saving that for the next decade.
So lets just say that Lara Croft and I became very familiar with each other. We solved some seriously tough puzzles, explored ancient ruins, fought endless battles together, all with not much more than a bottomless backpack and 2 Desert Eagles that no woman her size should be able to handle!
Recently Lara came to take up residence on my desk – a fact that has brought me great pleasure! She’s always there, guns drawn (or holstered as needed), a calming, guiding, and lets face it – kickass – influence when I (or others) need setting straight ;-)
