Husbands can be so frustrating at times. A couple of days ago Robert told me that he doesn’t think I’m capable of creating an image that doesn’t have texture added to it. Not capable! (it’s true, I do tend to see everything through textured glasses, but not capable!!) He then threw down his gauntlet & challenged me to create an image with no textures added….not a single one. Hmmpff!!Challenge accepted.
This was shot with a reversed 50mm lens [canon 1000D]. I’m trying this technique having watched Lorraine doing it for so long. You can check out the Lens Reversal group if you’re interested in learning more about it.
This lovely little pendant is a recent addition to my neckwear. The antique silver fobchain is almost always on. I treated myself to it a few years ago when I was feeling a little fragile. Nothing like something old & precious for making me feel good. The pendant; It’s made locally by a very enterprising pair of ladies who began with a blog & were doing so well, they decided a shopfront might be a good idea. I’m pleased they did because the store is gorgeous.
